As the deer pants for the WaterBrooks, so my soul longs for You, O God. Psalm 62.1
 Water Brooks
Acreage in Vermont has been set aside for the future site of my life long dream... building a spiritual renewal center where people can leave the hustle and bustle of life and come to the solitude and silence to find in their turbulent lives that still point where God speaks to the heart of man.  It was in the silence that I personally wrestled with God and came to know my Creator Who transformed my life from bitterness and dispair to the joyous and abundant life I now live... I want for everyone to have what I have found... that perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. My dream of building a secluded place in the wilderness is for those that seek a deeper walk with their Creator. We have chosen the name Water Brooks to symbolize the living waters which restore the tired and weary and  refresh the very soul of man.

"Nestled in the green mountains of Vermont lies my $1 Dream. A dream of shaping 113 acres into a retreat that holds stillness and peace... where the babbling brook sings and where man's heart shall pant for God as a deer longs for the running waters.

A lodge along with several small cabins throughout the wooded hills will be refuge for those that need to find rest amidst life-changing circumstances. It will be a place of silence for God's people to seek Him and His direction for their lives. WaterBrooks also invites the physically challenged through accessible housing as well as winding wheelchair accessible paths.

The dream includes The Kennels Of Levi, building a training center for multi-special skills service dogs for the physically challenged.  Levi was my first hearing dog and he changed my life forever. His love and dedication has not been forgotten and the Kennels will be built in his memory.

Why is it called the $1 Dream?  It's a very simple concept born in a time of great financial hardship.  Many wonderful organizations are striving to make ends meet and although the timing to create this dream sounds a bit off I strongly believe...

If every person that has ever heard me speak... read about me...watched me on tv...watched the tv show... or simply met me in person would hand me $1 for my dream, this dream would quickly become a reality.  It's the $1 Dream that people can afford in these hard times.

Today's prices are outrageous - $1 will get you a small coke, small fries, or a small hamburger but within two minutes, you swallowed a $1 with nothing to show for it. The $1 Dream will affect lives and be long lasting through the years.

Friends, do you have a $1 in your pocket?  Do you have 4 quarters?  Ten dimes? 100 pennies? Would you give that $1 to my $1 Dream?

It's simple, just click the donate button today."  sue thomas

"The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with the joy of singing; the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, "Be strong, fear not; behold your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence, He will come and save you.

Then the eyes of he blind that be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing; for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water; in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there; nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there.

And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion, with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away."              Isaiah 35
